Retro Brush Painting

OVERVIEW / 01
*This is a fictional brand to showcase work*
Retro Brush Painting is a painting/art studio that is very community centric in the heart of Portland, OR. First I want to identify what it is that the studio mainly focuses on for revenue streams and how email marketing and automation can boost them.
Revenue Streams:
Painting classes for all skill levels
• Themed workshops like “Neon Nights” and “Retro Classics”
• Family-friendly painting sessions
Private events, date nights, and team-building activities

PROBLEM / 02
The main revenue point seems to be the all of the group classes equally. There may not be as much of a “problem” with the current system of gaining class sign ups, but there can always be ways to improve to make class sign ups not a worry and the student experience better than ever! What email marketing and automation can provide is bringing in more class sign ups meaning more classes can be put on the schedule, as well as bringing an already close knit community even closer.
SOLUTION / 03
There are ways that both email marketing and email automation can boost these revenue streams to get more sign ups and bring what seems like a close knit community even more together.
Email Marketing
Monthly Newsletter
Class/Event Promotion
Community Appreciation
Student Painting Showcase
Etc.
The point of all of these (and possibly more) is to give the community a sense of belonging to the community of Retro Brush and to stay top of mind for people to think about signing up for their next class or a private event. These emails I would send 1-2 times per week. Any more would be too much and negatively affect the brand.
Email Automation
On Sign Up
Recap of class date, what to expect and what to bring
1 Week Before Class
Reminder of Class
Possibility of SMS reminder
1 Day Before Class
Reminder of Class, what to expect and what to bring
Possibility of SMS reminder
1 Day After Class
Thank you, ask for review and let them know about corporate or private events
Possibility of SMS ask for review
1 Week After Class Ends
Appreciation email on the community and letting them know about upcoming classes
3 Weeks After Class Ends
Upcoming classes and private events
This would be the first automation that I would implement to get the best bag for your buck right away. Email automation is a great way to help with retention after the class ends to get more sign ups from people who really enjoyed the class as well as have a better student experience.

What is your pricing model?
I use a revenue-based pricing model for the majority of my work! The main reason for this is because when working with clients that want to be very intentional about where their marketing budget is going, it makes sure that they will only pay when they get paid.
