Coming from a career in marketing doing everything from social media to building websites, I always leaned towards email marketing. I learned the ins and outs of the craft including automation and eventually into SMS.
Cut to my more personal life, I wanted to find more hobbies that I enjoyed with a like-minded community around it. I tried SO many things like roller blading, fencing and so many more. I wanted to try something more creative, so I gave pottery a go. I FELL IN LOVE!!! I started going to pottery classes as much as I could to learn and just have fun with a great community!
When I decided that I wanted to do freelancing, I knew I wanted a niche industry to really master and that I really enjoyed. Almost immediately I thought of pottery and art studios! Not only was this a perfect industry for something that I loved, but email is SO big in getting class sign ups and retention.
The only big issue that I thought could happen is that pottery studios don't have the resources to spend on marketing. My solution to that was revenue-based pricing! That way the only way you spend money is if I'm making you money.
With all of that set, I set off on my adventure to help pottery studios grow in my own way! By helping studios spend less time worrying about email marketing, and more time making their creative space the best it can be for their students.

What is your pricing model?
I use a revenue-based pricing model for the majority of my work! The main reason for this is because when working with clients that want to be very intentional about where their marketing budget is going, it makes sure that they will only pay when they get paid.
